Product Description
UV irradiation of trans-resveratrol leads to its photochemical
transformation to a new, highly fluorescent compound. The new compound was discovered by a Korean scientific research team in 2012. They named the newly discovered compound Resveratrone. the compound has good solubility, but it is insoluble in water and non-polar organic solvents.
The new compound has large values of fluorescence quantum yield, Stokes’ shift, and two-photon absorption cross section, which make it suitable for bio-imaging, multi-color labeling, and two-photon microscopy. It can be widely used as a new type of electronic chemical material.
The compound can be industrialized, 98% purity, light yellow to yellow solid.
